DH‑DTCA‑1V01 acts as a PROFIBUS‑DP slave on the PROFIBUS side, and can be configured as either Modbus master or slave on the Modbus side:
Transparent data communication between PROFIBUS and Modbus is realized through data mapping between the PROFIBUS communication data area and the Modbus data area.
When the DH‑DTCA‑1V01 gateway operates as a Modbus master, it supports function codes 01H, 02H, 03H, 04H, 05H, 06H, 0FH and 10H, with up to 48 configurable Modbus commands.(Modbus commands of the DTCA‑1V01 are configured in the PROFIBUS‑DP master configuration software; one command corresponds to one slot. Siemens PLC configuration software Step7 and TIA Portal support a maximum of 50 slots.)It supports the function of monitoring Modbus command status:
Input‑data timeout zero‑clear or hold function, output‑data timeout retransmission function
When the DH‑DTCA‑1V01 gateway works as a Modbus slave, it supports Modbus register address areas 3 (3xxxx), 4 (4xxxx), 0 (0xxxx) and 1 (1xxxx):
Wherein Area 3 supports function code 04H; Area 4 supports function codes 03H, 06H, 10H; Area 0 supports function codes 01H, 05H, 0FH; Area 1 supports function code 02H.
Supports PROFIBUS DP/V0 and DP/V1 protocols, compliant with the IEC61158 TYPE3 PROFIBUS international standard and Chinese national standard
GB/T 20540-2006
PROFIBUS‑DP slave station with automatic baud‑rate adaptation, supported baud‑rate range:
9600~12Mbps
The PROFIBUS input/output bytes can be freely set via DP‑master configuration tools such as Step7 or TIA Portal.Maximum PROFIBUS Input / Output:
①Max Input Bytes<244Bytes
②Max Output Bytes<244 Bytes
③Max Data Bytes<488 Bytes
Control Function: When operating as a Modbus master, the PROFIBUS side can enable or disable the transmission of Modbus commands.
When operating as a Modbus master, the PROFIBUS side can monitor the status of Modbus commands;
Status Monitoring Function:
When operating as a Modbus slave, the PROFIBUS side can monitor the Modbus network status
Monitor PROFIBUS‑side status:
When operating as a Modbus slave, the Modbus side can monitor the network status of the PROFIBUS side.
Auto‑degradation Function: This function is triggered when Modbus master send‑receive command timeouts reach the set count. Timed‑out commands are degraded from fast scan to slow scan to improve communication efficiency
