Battery safety
The battery is an important component of the UPS system. The lifespan of a battery depends on the ambient temperature and the number of discharges. High temperature use or deep discharge can shorten the lifespan of batteries.
1.The standard model has a sealed maintenance free lead-acid battery built-in. When UPS is connected to mains power, regardless of whether it is turned on or not, it can charge the battery before it is fully charged and provide overcharge and over discharge protection functions.
2.The battery should be used to maintain an ambient temperature between 15 ° C and 25 ° C.
3.If UPS is not used for a long time, it is recommended to charge it every three months.
4.Under normal circumstances, the battery has a lifespan of 3 to 5 years. If it is found to be in poor condition, it must be replaced early. The battery should not be replaced individually, and replacement must be carried out by professional personnel.
Warning: Do not place the battery in fire as it may explode. Do not open or damage the battery, as the released electrolyte is harmful to the eyes and skin, and may even cause poisoning. There is a risk of explosion when replacing batteries with the wrong model. It is necessary to dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
